- 2005 - Created
and published a Resource Guide for Children’s Services;
Continued second cycle of PROJECT NORTHLAND prevention program,
utilizing faith based partners and funded through the Office for
Addictive Disorders; Hosted website; Hosted 2nd annual Hibernia
Open Pro/Am Golf Tournament; Received renewal for year 2 of SAMHSA
grant for Drug Free Communities; Participated in and partially
funded Terrebonne Parish School Board’s Drug Free School’s
Teen Spirit summer camp; Hosted 1st annual Safe & Healthy
Kids Day; Participated in Mock Prom Crash; Attended 2 national
conferences; Hosted 3rd annual Christmas open house; Hosted monthly
meetings; Participated in recovery process from Hurricanes Rita & Katrina.

- 2004 - Created and
published a Resource Guide for Children’s Services; Continued
third cycle for implementation of ALL STARS drug & Alcohol
prevention program for Louisiana Partners in Prevention grant;
Began implementation of PROJECT NORTHLAND prevention program,
utilizing faith based partners and funded through the Office for
Addictive Disorders; Hired part-time program director; Provided
media exposure for sustaining members; Developed website www.bayoukids.org;
Hosted 1st annual Hibernia Open Pro/Am Golf Tournament starting
capital campaign for a Children’s Service Center; Wrote
and won a 5-year, $500,000 federal SAMHSA grant for Drug Free
Communities; Hired full-time program director, Hosted 2nd annual
Christmas open house; Hosted monthly meetings.
- 2003 - Created & published
a Resource Guide for Children's Services; Continued second grant
cycle for implementation of ALL STARS drug & alcohol prevention
program for Louisiana Partners in Prevention grant; Hired Part-time
Program Director; Incorporated and applied for 501(c)(3) status;
Implemented membership campaign; Administered two luncheons and
one day of training for directors of child care centers; Hosted
monthly meetings.
- 2002 - Created & published
a Resource Guide for Children's Services; Supervised implementation
of ALL STARS drug & alcohol prevention program for Louisiana
Partners in Prevention grant; provided assistance and collaboration
for the implementation of the Early Childhood Supports and Services
initiative; Administered four luncheons and one day of training
for directors of child care centers; Hosted monthly meetings.
- 2001 - Created & published
a Resource Guide for Children's Services; Encouraged partnerships
resulting in funded Louisiana Partners in Prevention Grant; Received
funding through Foundation for the Mid South to present educational
luncheons to directors of child care centers; Hosted monthly meetings;
Presented grant writing workshop.
- 2000 - March, First
meeting of the Children's Coalition for the Bayou Region; Implemented
three work groups; Developed Coalition to over 100 members; Hosted
monthly meetings; Encouraged partnerships.
