How You Can Get Involved!
The Children’s Coalition for
the Bayou Region prides itself on the variety of its members.
Membership gives you the opportunity to show you care about meeting
the needs of children in a united and dynamic way.
As a person who cares about
children:
Individuals can participate in the
Coalition by volunteering to help with special projects, serving
on one of the standing committees, or reaching out in neighborhoods
to help children develop their potential. Anyone can join! Individual
memberships can be obtained, or family memberships are available
so children can join in the fun of community building!
As a business who cares about
children:
Corporations and businesses are encouraged
to be a part of the Children’s Coalition. A company can
organize a team to help with one of the many member agencies or
can pioneer a new Coalition neighborhood project. Your resources
can play a big role, too. Register your copy machine, an employee
as your volunteer liaison, or dedicate a workday to benefit the
Coalition. We need you!
As a church or agency who
cares about children:
Church and nonprofit youth groups
and directors can launch programs with Coalition members as collaborating
partners, networking resources and volunteers! Ask about our special
projects designed specifically for our faith-based partners.

The Children’s Coalition for
the Bayou Region meets the last Wednesday of every month at noon.
Because the group is so large, the meeting site alternates between
Terrebonne and Lafourche. Give us a call at
